Build and ship the products that power our business. You own backend services end to end, wire up AI/LLM features that actually solve user problems, and connect it all to a clean Next.js/React frontend. You will start as an intern and, if you deliver, convert to a full-time engineer.
Role and responsibilities
- API Development: Design, build, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using FastAPI, with clean schemas, validation, and sensible error handling.
- Data Layer: Model and query relational data (PostgreSQL), write efficient queries, manage migrations, and keep the database healthy as the product grows.
- AI/LLM Integration: Build features on top of LLM APIs (prompting, retrieval, function calling, basic agent workflows) and turn rough ideas into working, testable endpoints.
- Frontend Delivery: Implement and connect UI in React/Next.js, consuming your own APIs so features work end to end rather than in isolation.
- Shipping and Quality: Write tests, handle auth and basic security, debug production issues, and ship in small, reviewable increments.
Requirements
- Pursuing (4th Year) or recently completed (2025/26 Batch) a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with real projects to show.
- Solid Python fundamentals and hands-on experience (coursework, side projects, or prior internship) with FastAPI or a similar framework (Flask, Django).
- Working knowledge of React and Next.js, and comfort building a feature across both frontend and backend.
- Understanding of databases and SQL, plus version control with Git.
- Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) and a genuine interest in building AI-powered features. Prior experience is a strong plus.
- A self-starter who can take an ambiguous problem, ask the right questions, and ship something useful.
